NEEW offers a full range of Bogie Hearth type Reheating and Heat Treatment Furnaces with a temperature range of 200C to 1450C and a capacity of up to 30 MT. These furnaces are designed to meet the specific needs of Foundry Cast House, Pressure Vessels, Heavy Structurals, Forgings, and other metal industries. They can be offered with single or double doors, single or double bogies, and an intermediate door to divide a large furnace in two parts/chambers can also be designed, if desired.

The furnaces are loaded with the help of an EOT crane or any mechanical device and the loaded bogie is pushed into the furnace over rails by means of electro-mechanical rack and pinion or rope and drum type bogie drive mechanism. The furnaces can also be offered with coro-rollers type bogie drive arrangement. After the reheating/heat treatment operation, the bogie can be taken-out from the furnace and material can be unloaded for further processing.

NEEW’ fuel fired furnaces are fired with high efficiency burners supported by a full complement of combustion systems consisting of combustion fan, atomizing fan, oil heating and pumping systems and/or gas trains. The furnaces can use a variety of liquid or gaseous fuels such as Furnace Oil, Light Diesel Oil, LPG, Natural Gas and Coke Oven gas singly or in combination in case of dual fired furnaces. Additionally, the furnaces can be provided with electrical heating through heat resistant Strip/Wire/Cartridge heating elements located along with the side/back walls/roof of the furnace.

NEEW’ Bogie Hearth furnaces are generally lined with ceramic fibre modules/blankets on the side wall, roof, and door, and the hearth of the furnace is provided with a combination of high/medium grade aluminium bricks backed-up by insulation bricks to minimize the skin temperature.
